Blondies Round Two

So some friends were in town, Flea and Husband, and asked where some good pizza is. Perfect right? Well we got some pizza...

5 slices!! Two pepperoni, two pesto chicken and a artichoke and pesto. The pepperoni is one of my favorites, spicy and tasty, unlike some dog treat meat other places use, and their red sauce is delightful. The pesto was creamy and flavorful, and basically everything was amazing!

Husband and Flea were mighty impressed and declared the best pizza they have had in a while. Go try it!

Pizanos Pizza

While on vacation in Reno, my handsome gentleman friend got us some delightful pizza at Pizanos :3 It was crispy slices thick with cheese and tasty sauce. I got a meaty combo slice and was not disappointed.

I also got free breadsticks for liking them on Facebook!! Total win!!

Avalinos Pizza

Mmm one of my favorites here in SF! I love it so much!! Generous portions, good price, thin crispy crust and wonderful flavors!!!

This is the breakfast pizza. Eggs and cheese are a base for sausage and bacon. So delightful!!! And each slice is a 1/8 of a medium pizza! Boom! Plus they have bottom-less mimosas :3

Armadillo pizza

So a little back story on this place and myself. I have lived LITERALLY less then 4 blocks from here for 3 years, and this is the first chance I have had to eat here. How is that possible? It's never open. I thought they were a front for mob activity... Or just a tease.. Or made of lizards... Anyways, was the wait worth it?

Omg yes. It was amazing! Super tomato sauce, delightful cheese, and wonderful toppings. They have slices and whole pies and they deliver... Even if their only open 4 hours a week

Blondies

Mmmm Blondies. A favorite of many here in the city. Located right in the heart of downtown and next to the cable car, with  some of the cheapest prices in that part of town at $4 a slice. I have had tonsof pieces   from there but today I'm reviewing the Italian Sausage or Cesar's Favorite.

Even though the pizza is laid right out in front of everyone to see I didn't look at this pizza when I ordered. I was thinking a meaty treat and was pleasantly surprised by the assorted vegis. Sausage with zucchini, peppers onions and sun dried tomatoes. It has a flavorful red sauce and tasty crust. Not gunna lie, the sausage was weird... Not in edible but off... But a good to go slice an ready in under 5 minutes!!

7-11 pizza???

I forgot my lunch today in class. So at lunch I headed towards a chain sandwich shop to get a healthy but boring sandwich when I was stopped my a large sign in a window. Large Pizza for $5.55... At 7-11?!?!

Now I have to say I am not afraid of the food at quicky marts, or food trucks. So I ran in and ordered. You have a choice I triple cheese or pepperoni. Duh, meat. It only took the attendant a few minutes to prepare my prefrozen treat. It huge. 15inches across. I walked it up to my class and freaked my classmates out a little, but who cares?? I have a mountain of pizza!! It's nice and hot all the way through, no cold bits which is awesome. The crust is actually pretty tasty, and crisp without to much outer crust. Sauce is tomatoesque, and not to canned tasting, with actual 1 inch rounds of pepperoni and little cubes of meat evenly distributed. All in all I'm TOTALLY impressed and will eat this again. What a deal.

Uncle Vito's

Welcome to my pizza blog! Because I looooove pizza, and living and goin to school in the Bay Area there is tons of awesome pizza I decided I need to share. Today's post is Uncle Vito's, a little place just a shot from my classes in San Fran.

Shot from the 3rd floor

So I have walked past this place for 3 years and never stopped, until tonight. I'm here late doing hw, and decided it was a perfect time to try it out. Walking in the place is really small, but cozy and the staff greeted me immediately.

I grabbed a to-go menu and browsed through, panicked and went for a personal pizza with two of my go-to toppings, pepperoni and pineapple. Judge, but it's a great go to. As is pepperoni pineapple and jalepeno or pepperoni mushroom an olive. But at any rate, they don't offer slices, but my 8" pizza was about $12 with tip. (9 something for 3 toppings) it was ready in about 10 minutes, while I wandered around the tight hallway looking at cool old photos of the city.

With pizza in hand I ran up stairs to my work space and opened up my treasure.

It's a suuuuper thin crust, almost to thin, I needed two hands to keep the toppings on. If I go back ill ask for it well done. But toppings are delightful and pineapple is crisp. Not to greasy, buttery but bland crust. But it's so thin I'm not worried. Bottom line, I would recommend this to fellow students due to its proximity, but lack of slices might make it unappealing to on the go folks. Not bad but Blondies is just down the road...
